Sometimes you need your toddler up and out if the way so you can do things. Whether it be to vacuum without them crying or clean without them making more of a mess. Overall it's a great carrier. There are two reasons I prefer my Maya Wrap Ring Sling over this one for extended use though.
1. It does not have a padded shoulder and my Maya does.
2. It does not have a pocket for your things and my Maya does.

For those reasons I leave this Mamaway Ring Sling at home to use and keep my Maya one in the car to use. I love having two that way I never forget it when I go out!
